Schedule A) 10,000-Miles Required Maintenance Schedule*
The A Service first visit is at approximately 10,000 miles or 1 year. Then it is approximately every 20,000 miles or 2 years. This is for model year 2009 and newer. Please see your service advisor for all 2015 Mercedes-Benz A/B service specifics.
That means you will need a Service A at approximately 10,000, 30,000, 50,000, 70,000, 90,000, miles (etc.). The timeframe will depend on how often and far you drive. The exact time is determined by the vehicle’s Flexible Service System.
- Synthetic motor oil replacement and
- Oil filter replacement
- All fluid level checks and corrections (dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.)
- Tire inflation check and correction
- Brake component inspection
- Reset maintenance counter
In performing Service A, Prestige Motorworks is careful to take into account your vehicle’s specific features. We identify its model and production year, obtain the relevant service sheet, and service it accordingly.
Schedule B) 20,000-Miles Required Maintenance Schedule*
The B Service first visit is at approximately 20,000 miles or 1 year after the previous service. Then it is typically every 20,000 miles or 2 years (approximately). This is for model year 2009 and newer. Please see service advisor for all 2015 Mercedes-Benz A/B service specifics.
The need for Service B, like that for Service A, varies with the vehicle’s specifics and is not time dependent. You will need a Service B at approximately 20,000, 40,000, 60,000, 80,000, 100,000 miles (etc.). The exact time is determined by the vehicle’s Flexible Service System.

- Cabin dust/combination filter replacement
- Brake component inspection, Brake fluid exchange
- Tire inflation check and correction
- All fluid level checks and corrections (dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.)

What is a transmission service Mercedes?
Once a car is three years old (four years in Northern Ireland) it must be tested each year to check it meets road safety and environmental standards.
This Ministry of Transport test is commonly known as an ‘MOT’.
MOT tests are carried out at authorised test centres around the country, all of which display an official blue sign featuring three white triangles.
An MOT involves dozens of checks on your car, ranging from the brakes and fuel system to lights, mirrors, seatbelts, windscreen wipers and exhaust system.
How long does an MOT take?
An average MOT test takes between 45 and 60 minutes, but there are a couple of other things to take into consideration.
First, if your vehicle fails the test and repairs are needed this will take longer.
A test centre isn’t allowed to let you drive away a car that has failed an MOT until the problems are fixed, unless your existing MOT certificate is still valid, or you’re taking the car to have the faults fixed.
Second, the test might take an hour or less, but, even if there aren’t any repairs, this doesn’t mean your vehicle will only have to be at the garage for 60 minutes.
Test centres can require you to drop your vehicle off first thing in the morning and collect it when ready.
This means you should be prepared to be without your vehicle for the day.
